Book review: "Bite once more with feeling" by Tate Hallaway

After Garnet Lacey was able to shake off the witch hunters of the Vatican now the FBI is after her. A very handsome FBI agent appeared with her at the store and asks for it. In order to avoid confrontation with the FBI Garnet gets the idea to make the FBI agents to discipline by a slight love spells and thereby evade the investigation. But, unfortunately, is this love spell from something that happened almost violently, and something so very Garnet not wanted. After all, she has a friend, Sebastian the alchemist vampire and her ex-boyfriend Parish, who is also a vampire and whose coffin with her in the cellar. Sebastian is jealous anyway Parish and so the idea of the magic of love's not been the best idea. It turns out that the FBI agent she did not at first suspected, but Parish, but after unsuccessful spells love Garnet is very suspicious and that they were involved in more and more Wiedersprüchkeiten. Dominguez, the FBI agent she would like to point out arrest. But this can be Lilith, the goddess who protected them and so it does not come to a fight, is shot in the Garnet. The confusion and to take this the fact that zombies and a voodoo priestess their mischief in the city.

The story builds up slowly. It is based on the first part of the novel series "Not again a vampire" and the story about Garnet, Sebastian Parish and will be further developed. You get to know their friends and Garnet even better and also learn what happened after the showdown of the last book with Sebastian and Garnet. I liked the book very well and it was an entertaining conversation. I find that in the book a little less magical background knowledge is given as in the book against what history has done very well. Of course there is the book about magic and New Age to much, but stand in the foreground but the human feelings of the protagonists. It's about love, zeal search, greed and sense of duty. This mixture makes my opinion the appeal of the story and I could very well empathize with Garnets world, even if it's a different world for me but, as the one I know of.

I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series "Vampire be everything is " and I'll buy this too soon and read.
