Sophie's World is a novel about the history of philosophy. One day finds Sofie in her mailbox a letter in which you answer the question "Who are you?" is made. In another letter, she is asked the question "Where does the world?". So begins the journey for them in a world full of questions and just as many answers. The philosophy is probably as old as humanity itself and its history therefore also a history of human development. Sofie gets then later a few typewritten pages in which it is brought close to this story. Your teacher Alberto Knox tries to introduce into the minds of old and new philosophers. This journey is framed by a story in the beginning seems a bit strange at first, but throughout history always stranger and stranger. A completely unknown writes postcards to her Hilde, a girl knows she does not, but which are addressed to Sofie. The postcards come more often and the messages which are all addressed to Hilde, Sofie finds the umöglichsten places. Even the dog begins to speak of Alberto and Hilde wish a happy birthday. I liked very much that is aware of the plot in the novel and the philosophy of a course the question of the reality. The question "Who am I?" arise from time immemorial the people and I am firmly convinced that everyone is given a different answer.
